Advanced Hosting Vs. SiteBuilder Basic Hosting

The basic hosting account included with SiteBuilder plans will provide you with online access to a SiteBuilder interface that includes a "one click" website publishing feature. Depending on the plan selected, you will also get a set number of email accounts using the format (You@YourDomainName.com) along with webmail login so that you can access your mail accounts from any computer connected to the Internet.

SiteBuilder accounts are sold with basic hosting only. Basic Hosting accounts are set-up and managed by us. SiteBuilder users can not set up their own email accounts. We need to create the email accounts for SiteBuilder users. Email account creation for SiteBuilder Basic Hosting users are always processed within 12 hours of receipt.

Some of the more experienced users and certain web applications require more sophisticated and powerful options that are offered only through Advanced Hosting Plans. These full-featured hosting plans include FTP file upload capabilities. FTP can be usefull for users who want to run music or video files and want to update them often or simply want to have full control over the uploading process for their site.

The Advanced Hosting control panel allows clients to better manage their data and accounts. Many features of the advanced hosting control panel are for experienced webmasters.

If you want to be able to create your own email accounts and access all the other features of the Advanced Hosting control panel, then you will need to use the full-featured hosting control panel of the Advanced Web Hosting plans.
